Johannesburg:The University of Johannesburg (UJ) has conferred an honorary doctorate on Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. This honor recognizes her significant contributions to defending human rights, prioritizing children's education in global policy, and her investments in progress and social reform.
According to Qatar News Agency, the honorary doctorate was accepted on behalf of Her Highness by His Excellency Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of South Africa, Mubarak bin Nasser Al Khalifa.
Sheikha Moza's leadership roles include serving as Chairperson of both the Qatar Foundation and the Education Above All Foundation, where she has been instrumental in advancing educational and social initiatives worldwide.
