Post: Shura Council Delegation Engages in Legislative Discussions with Saudi Counterparts.

Riyadh: A Shura Council delegation chaired by HE Chairman of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dosari met with HE Shura Council Speaker of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sheikh. The meeting, which took place in Riyadh, focused on discussing joint cooperation and issues of common interest, as well as exchanging views on enhancing legislative processes and strengthening collaboration between the two councils. According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation also engaged in a meeting with the Saudi-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group, chaired by HE Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al Muhanna. During this meeting, both parties explored the best parliamentary practices and mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation, aiming to fortify the relationship between the legislative bodies of Qatar and Saudi Arabia. In addition to the meetings, the Shura Council delegation attended a session of the Saudi Shura Council. They were provided with insights into the council's history, experience, organizational structure, and work mechanisms, offering a comprehensive understanding of the Saudi legislative framework as part of their visit to Riyadh.
