Simmering (Too Darn Hot) of Al Shaqab Racing (trainer Ollie Sangster and jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle) won the Gr. 2 Prix du Calvados at Deauville racecourse in France.
Fraise des Bois (Zelzal) of Denford Stud (trainer Jean-Claude Rouget and jockey Cristian Demuro) came 2nd, while Iron Bird (Showcasing) of Wertheimer and Frere (trainer Carlos Laffon-Parias and jockey Alexis Pouchin) came 3rd.
Simmering is set to partake in the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket racecourse in the United Kingdom next month.
