Post: South Korea, New Zealand discuss security cooperation

Seoul, Yoon Suk Yeol, President of South Korea, and Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister of New Zealand, discussed means to enhance security cooperation during their summit Wednesday. According to Yonhap News Agency, the two sides also discussed trade, investment, security, and technology cooperation, and affirmed joint commitment to enhance collaboration on regional and international matters to advance bilateral relations to a "comprehensive strategic partnership." The meeting also reviewed the significant increase in two-way trade since the implementation of a free trade agreement in December 2015, which reduced tariffs on most goods traded between the two countries.
