Tennis: Sinner Reaches US Open Final

World no. 1 Jannik Sinner reached the US Open final after defeating Britain’s Jack Draper (ranked world No. 25) in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6, 6-2.

With this victory, the Italian is one step closer to his second Grand Slam title this year. He previously won the Australian Open, defeating Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in five sets, 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

Sinner will face the winner of the other semifinal match between Americans world No. 12 Taylor Fritz and world No. 20 Frances Tiafoe.
