Doha: The summit that convened US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alaska had generated a new momentum for the efforts of halting the Russia-Ukraine war, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan added that he is hopeful the new stage will constitute an enduring peace with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as well.
According to Qatar News Agency, posting on his account on social media platforms on Saturday, Erdogan emphasized that Turkiye is ready to provide all forms of support to achieve peace between Russia and Ukraine.
