Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks on Friday with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani regarding the ongoing developments in the region. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered around unifying their positions in response to the escalating threats to regional peace and stability, particularly in light of the Israeli entity’s continued aggression in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as attacks on multiple countries in the region.
The dialogue emphasized the critical need to support initiatives aimed at halting the ceasefire breaches in Gaza and Lebanon. Both leaders highlighted the importance of facilitating relief operations, providing aid to those affected by the aggression, and initiating reconstruction efforts. Furthermore, they underscored the necessity of protecting the Palestinian presence on its historical land.
