Two Palestinian Children Martyred in Israeli Drone Attack on Rafah, Infant Perishes Due to Harsh Cold


Rafah: Two Palestinian children were killed Monday, following an Israeli drone attack on Al Shoka, a town east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Three people were injured in another strike targeting Khirbat Al Adas in the northern Gaza city.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that an infant, no older than 35 days, perished due to climatic conditions and the chilling cold currently afflicting the Gaza Strip. This incident came in the wake of the heightened harsh cold-induced fatalities, with the death toll reaching eight people, the ministry reported in a press statement.



In its daily casualty figures, the ministry stated that the Israeli occupation forces committed five massacres against families in the Gaza Strip. Eighty-eight martyrs and 208 injured were rushed to hospitals during the latest 24-hour reporting period.



On Sunday, the ministry reported that since October 7, 2023, the casualty figures from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip surged to 45,805 martyrs and 109,064 injured.
