UAE Defense Ministry Intercepts 23 Ballistic Missiles, 56 Drones from Iran

Doha: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems intercepted 23 ballistic missiles and 56 drones launched from Iran on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that since the start of the Iranian attacks, air defenses have dealt with 498 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles, and 2,141 drones. The ongoing conflict has led to significant casualties and damage.

The Ministry further reported that the attacks resulted in the deaths of two UAE Armed Forces personnel who were performing their national duty, along with a civilian contractor. Additionally, there were 10 civilian fatalities. The number of injured individuals has reached a total of 217, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate and severe.
