UAE FM Engages in Talks with Saudi, Jordanian, Bolivian Counterparts on Regional Issues

Doha: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan held phone conversations with counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Bolivia to deliberate on regional developments. The discussions with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, and Bolivia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Fernando Aramayo focused on the implications of Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other nations in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the talks also covered the recent announcement by US President Donald Trump regarding a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Sheikh Al-Nahyan emphasized the necessity for Iran to comply fully with an immediate halt to all hostile actions in the region. He underlined the need for the complete and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the end of threats to freedom of navigation, international trade, energy supplies, and the global economy.
