Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates and the European Union discussed regional developments and bilateral cooperation during a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas reviewed the situation in the region and the repercussions of the Iranian missile attacks on the UAE and the wider region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also addressed regional updates following US President Donald Trump's announcement of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation and combining regional and international efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region.
