Abu dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Monday with Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa, who is visiting the UAE, to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and joint action, particularly in the development and economic fields.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on several regional issues of mutual concern, stressing the importance of working to strengthen the foundations of peace, security, and stability in the Middle East for the benefit of all its countries and for the progress and prosperity of its peoples.
