Post: UKMTO: Very Large Unidentified Projectiles West of Yemen’s Hodeidah

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced Wednesday that the captain of a ship 77 nautical miles west of the Yemeni city of Hodeidah reported that the ship was hit by two unknown shells before a third shell hit the ship. The British authority reported that there were no reports of casualties. The Houthis have been carrying out repeated drone and missile attacks in the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden since last November, forcing shipping companies to reroute ships to take longer and more expensive routes around the southern tip of Africa.
