Zaporizhia: Four people were killed in Russian shelling of the Zaporizhia region in southern Ukraine. Zaporizhia's Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that three women lost their lives in a series of Russian shelling attacks that targeted a village east of Zaporizhia.
According to Qatar News Agency, Fedorov added that a man was killed in a nearby Russian strike involving a guided air bomb that destroyed a house. The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has led to regular exchanges of reports from both sides, each claiming to have repelled attacks from the other. These reports have not been independently verified due to the challenging circumstances of the war, which has been ongoing since February 24, 2022.
