Ukrainian authorities announced the killing of an elderly woman and the injury of two others in Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeast of the country. The Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov said in statements carried by the Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) Thursday that Russian forces launched 161 strikes on 12 towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia region during the past 24 hours. The Russian forces also carried out air strikes in addition to drone attacks and artillery strikes targeting several Ukrainian regions.
