Ukrainian President: Russia Launched 1000 Drones, 36 Missiles Against Ukraine in One Week

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia launched around 1,000 strike drones, 980 guided aerial bombs, and 36 missiles of various types against Ukraine in a single week.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a Facebook post, Zelensky mentioned that restoration efforts are currently underway in Kharkiv and its surroundings, as well as in the Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions following Russian attacks. He added that rescue teams were operating in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

Zelensky highlighted that, just yesterday, Russia launched more than 170 drones against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President noted that his country is actively working with its partners to strengthen Ukraine's protection. He emphasized that new and significant agreements with Europe are in place to bolster air defense, resilience, and diplomacy.
