UNRWA: Israeli Entity Violates International Law by Restricting Aid Access to Gaza

Doha: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that the Israeli entity is violating international law by continuing to restrict access to aid to the Gaza Strip. Deputy Commissioner-General of UNRWA Natalie Boucly said in a press statement on Saturday that the aid currently entering the Gaza Strip does not exceed half of the required daily amount, estimated between 500-600 trucks.

According to Qatar News Agency, Boucly noted that UNRWA has enough stock to load up to 6,000 trucks of food, tents, and basic materials. These supplies, which are sufficient for the residents of Gaza for three months, are located in Jordan and Egypt but have not reached the Strip due to Israeli obstacles.

Boucly added that the whole world, including the EU and the US, is required to increase pressure on the Israeli government to ensure that aid enters the Gaza Strip without restrictions.
