Irupana:La Paz At least 10 people lost their lives and four others were injured when a van plummeted off a cliff in a mountainous area of western Bolivia. The tragic accident took place early in the morning on a dirt road near the town of Irupana, located east of the capital, La Paz, according to police reports.
According to Qatar News Agency, the police chief in La Paz confirmed the incident's toll, stating that the injured individuals have been transported to the hospital for necessary medical treatment.
He mentioned that the exact causes of the accident remain unclear at this time, and an investigation has been launched to uncover the circumstances surrounding the event. Annually, approximately 1,400 people die on Bolivian roads, with the majority of incidents attributed to reckless driving and mechanical failures.
