According to Qatar News Agency, the S and P 500 rose by 22.46 points, or 0.34%, to close at 6,710.92 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite climbed 94.02 points, or 0.42%, ending the day at 22,754.03 points. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 42.04 points, or 0.09%, finishing at 46,439.93 points.
