A number of workers were injured, on Tuesday morning, one of them seriously, as a result of the occupation forces firing stun grenades at workers near the northern Qalqilya crossing.
Our correspondent said that one of the injured was transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital, worker Zuhdi Abu Taha, after he was hit by a sound bomb in the face that led to lacerations in the mouth, and he will be operated on.
Abu Taha, who works legally, said that after crossing to the other side of the crossing, he was surprised by the presence of the occupation police, which fired stun grenades directly at the workers.
Hundreds of workers closed part of Street 55 inside, adjacent to the city of Al-Taybeh, refusing the occupation police to withdraw the buses that take them to their workplaces inside.
The occupation forces were on alert behind the northern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya.
The occupation police withdrew the buses carrying workers to their places of work, as a form of collective punishment practiced by the occupation against the Palestinians
