Youth Minister meets Saudi Sports Minister

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Sports, during her official visit to Saudi Arabia.

Tawfiqi underscored the importance of the longstanding Bahraini-Saudi relations and their achievements, which continue to develop supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the continuous follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The meeting reviewed relations between the two ministries and ways to develop them for the benefit of the youth of the two kingdoms in light of the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

She also stressed the importance of continuing to support youth and increasing joint programmes and initiatives that aim to empower them.
