Kirkuk: Three ISIS members were killed in an airstrike southeast of the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
According to Qatar News Agency, a security source stated that Iraqi aircraft conducted an airstrike targeting an ISIS hideout in Wadi Al-Shai, southeast of Kirkuk. The operation resulted in the deaths of three ISIS members, including a prominent leader, and led to the complete destruction of the hideout.
Iraqi security forces are continuing their efforts to pursue remnants of ISIS across various provinces in the country. The forces are particularly focused on these efforts as ISIS elements periodically carry out armed attacks targeting army and police personnel.
