5 Killed in Pakistan Army Helicopter Crash

Doha: An army helicopter crashed killing all crew members in Pakistan on Monday: A statement from the Pakistani military said the MI-17 helicopter was on a routine training flight when it developed a technical fault and crashed.

According to Qatar News Agency, the incident resulted in the deaths of two pilots, two crew chiefs, and a flight engineer. This tragic accident occurred just weeks after a similar crash in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan. In that previous incident, the helicopter was participating in rescue operations during severe flooding, and all five people on board were killed.
