62-Year-Old Palestinian Shot and Killed by Israeli Occupation Army in Gaza City

Gaza city: A 62-year-old Palestinian man was shot and killed on Saturday by Israeli naval forces on Al-Rashid Street west of Gaza City, medical sources reported. The incident adds to the growing tension in the region, as violence continues to escalate.

According to Qatar News Agency, another Palestinian was shot and injured in the Beit Lahia Project area in the northern Gaza Strip. The violence did not end there, as two more citizens were shot and injured by occupation soldiers near the Abu Hamid roundabout east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out large-scale razing operations north-east of Gaza City. The death toll since dawn has risen to seven, including four members of the same family, as a result of airstrikes and shooting attacks carried out by the Israeli army across multiple areas in the Gaza Strip.

The Government Media Office in Gaza has announced that Israeli occupation soldiers have committed over 3,300 breaches of the ceasefire accord in the Gaza Strip. This has resulted in the killing of 1,012 Palestinians since last October, illustrating the severe impact of ongoing hostilities.

The ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel came into effect on October 10, following the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from several positions and populated areas across the enclave. Subsequently, displaced individuals began returning to the northern Strip as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war in Gaza.
