8 Injured in Russian Drone Attack in Eastern Ukraine

Kharkiv: Eight people were injured in a drone attack launched by the Russian Forces overnight in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, officials said on Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that the attack resulted in the death of eight people, including two teenagers. The strike involved at least eight combat drones targeting a "municipal enterprise," as stated by Mayor Ihor Terekhov, who did not provide further details.

Mayor Terekhov added that a major fire broke out on the company premises as a result of the attack. Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city situated approximately 30 km from the country's northeastern border, has been a repeated target of Russian air attacks.
