Al Harith Triumphs in Group 2 French Challenge for Purebred Arabians

France: Al Harith, owned and bred by Al Wasmiya Racing, clinched victory in the Group 2 French Challenge for Purebred Arabians, a race designed for three-year-old male purebred Arabians. The event took place at the Lateste racecourse in France.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Harith, guided by trainer Francois Roux and jockey Maxime Guyon, secured the win by two lengths. The race marked a significant achievement for Al Harith, after a previous third-place finish in the Group 3 Monjez Prize last month.

Khaddah, owned by Wathnan Racing, finished in second place. Also trained by Francois Roux and ridden by jockey Mickael Barzalona, Khaddah put up a strong performance. Following them, Sabaan Al Shahaniya, owned by HE Sheikha Iman bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, secured third place, trailing by an additional four and a half lengths. Sabaan Al Shahaniya, too, was under the guidance of trainer Francois Roux and was ridden by jockey Christian Demeureux.

The competition featured five colts, with Al Harith emerging as the standout performer. His victory signifies a promising start to his racing career.
