Rabat: The Organizing Committee of the Longines Global Champions Tour and Team Champions League has announced the addition of a new round to the 2025 season calendar, set in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. The Rabat round, marking the 15th event of this season's Longines Tour, is scheduled from October 17 to 19, building on the success of the tour's inaugural edition last year.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Longines Global Champions Tour will expand the number of rounds in the 2025 season to 17. The tour will commence in Doha (Al Shaqab) and traverse through cities including Mexico City, Shanghai, Madrid, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Paris, Monaco, London, and Valkenswaard.
The championship's upcoming rounds will continue in Rzeszow, New York, Vienna, Rome, Rabat, and Riyadh, with the season culminating in the final held in Prague. The Prague final will feature only Grand Prix champions from rounds one to sixteen.
The grand prizes from previous rounds have been claimed by Abdul Qader Saeed in Doha, Emmanuel Camilli in Mexico City, Scott Brash in both Shanghai and Saint-Tropez, Ioli Mitileno in Madrid, Harry Smolders in Cannes and Valkenswaard, Gilles Thomas in Paris, Simon Delestre in Monaco, and Christian Kokoc in London.
