Doha: Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Real Estate General Authority (Aqarat) has officially revealed the 3rd edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), coinciding with the Cityscape exhibition.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum is organized as a demonstration of the Authority's commitment to enhancing the role of the real estate sector as a key pillar in the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030). This aligns with the leadership's directives to build a prosperous future for Qatar. Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, Chairman of Aqarat, stated during a press conference that this edition builds upon the successes of previous ones and aims to reinforce Qatar's status as a leading real estate and investment destination.

The forum is envisioned as an annual platform for investors, experts, and real estate developers to explore opportunities in the Qatari market, build confidence in the sector, and foster cooperation among stakeholders. This supports the development path aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030. Notably, the third edition will feature a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia, the official guest of honor, represented by a pavilion showcasing several Saudi government entities related to real estate.

The forum will focus on four main themes. The first theme addresses the government's role, highlighting legislations and policies ensuring a safe investment environment. The second theme is dedicated to real estate technology, showcasing the latest digital solutions. The third theme covers the investor's journey, with guidelines to maximize opportunities and streamline processes. The fourth theme highlights major projects that open new horizons for Qatar's development.

In response to questions, Aqarat Chairman Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli mentioned ongoing consultations with relevant entities regarding real estate products and easy financing programs, emphasizing the banks' willingness to provide financing with guarantees. He confirmed the introduction of the escrow account, providing reassurance for banks in financing licensed real estate projects.

The forum will feature over 30 speakers from Qatar, the GCC, Asia, and America. During the press conference, sponsorship agreements were announced with prominent companies to support the forum and highlight the real estate sector's pivotal role in Qatar.

Eng. Al Obaidli also outlined the promotional efforts, including a comprehensive media plan and the launch of an official forum website. He expressed gratitude to sponsors and partners for their contributions to the event's success.

The Qatar Real Estate Forum serves as a leading platform for dialogue, expertise exchange, and future foresight, aligning with global trends in sustainability, technology, and smart city development. It reinforces Qatar's position as a regional and international real estate investment destination.

The Real Estate General Authority encourages investors, developers, and experts to visit the forum's website for registration details. The previous forum in 2024, held in partnership with Cityscape, saw participation from over 14,000 individuals and the signing of 16 agreements, encompassing both local and international collaborations.

The forum is part of a broader vision to develop Qatar's real estate sector, following the establishment of the Real Estate General Authority by Amiri Decision No. 28 of 2023. This step aims to regulate and stimulate the sector, supporting Qatar National Vision 2030 and promoting sustainable growth.
