Muscat: The Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States organized a professional licensing operations management program for teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of 25 educators from various educational backgrounds.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Doha-based center said in a statement that the three-day program aims to enhance participants' skills in managing the professional licensing system efficiently and fairly. It covers topics including licensing principles and systems, procedures for granting, renewing, and canceling licenses, digitizing processes using artificial intelligence, applying quality and governance standards, and analyzing system-related challenges.
The center explained that the program includes training sessions and practical workshops aimed at enabling participants to apply the concepts learned in their educational environments. This will contribute to improving and developing professional licensing systems to keep pace with the development of educational systems and adopting an integrated administrative model for managing professional licensing operations, while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
The training center indicated in its statement that the training program aims to enhance participants' capabilities in planning, implementing, and supervising professional licensing operations.
It is worth noting that the Arab Center for Educational Training for the Gulf States is a specialized body within the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States. It was established to contribute to the training of educational leaders in the ministries of education in the Bureau's member states on high-level scientific and methodological foundations.
