Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Doha on Monday, heading to Malaysia to participate in the second Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, and the inaugural ASEAN-GCC-China Economic Summit, scheduled to commence Tuesday, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. HH the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ASEAN-GCC Summit aims to enhance cooperation between the Southeast Asian nations and the Gulf states. This collaboration is expected to focus on economic partnerships, trade agreements, and mutual interests in regional security.
