Arab League Denounces Israeli Plan for Gaza Camp as Ethnic Cleansing Continuation

Doha: The Arab League strongly condemned recent Israeli plans reportedly aimed at confining Palestinians to a small camp in southern Gaza, denouncing the proposal in the strongest terms.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Arab League stressed that the so-called humanitarian city proposed by the occupying power bears no relation to either humanity or urban development. It described the plan, rejected in both form and substance, as a new low in moral and ethical degradation by the occupation, exposing a clear intention to continue ethnic cleansing, reoccupy Gaza, and potentially prepare the ground for settlement expansion.

The League called on the international community to firmly oppose such inhumane schemes. It emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire agreement and accused Israel of stalling and inventing one obstacle after another to avoid committing to a ceasefire.

The League reiterated that what is urgently needed now is to reach an immediate ceasefire deal and for Israel to stop its obstruction and delay tactics.
