China: The Ministry of Transport announced a one-year suspension, which took effect on Monday, of port fees for ships owned or operated by US companies, organizations, and individuals, effective immediately.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry announced the one-year suspension of its probe into how the US Section 301 investigation might affect the security and development interests of China's shipping and shipbuilding sectors, as well as related industrial and supply chains.
The Chinese Ministry of Transport confirmed that these measures are in line with the consensus reached during the China-US economic and trade talks held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
