Jerusalem: Israeli colonists stormed on Tuesday morning the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, eyewitnesses reported that dozens of colonists entered the courtyards of the mosque, engaging in provocative tours and performing Talmudic rituals. This event coincided with the first day of the "Hebrew Sukkot" festival.
Since the onset of the Israeli aggression against Palestinian territories, specifically in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in October 2023, over 68,000 colonists have entered Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation forces. This has occurred amid increased entry restrictions to the mosque and the gates of the Old City.
