Death Toll from Israeli Strikes on Gaza City Rises to Five

Gaza city: The number of Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli strikes on Gaza City since early Saturday has risen to five, according to medical sources.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources in Gaza reported that an earlier strike targeting a residential apartment belonging to a single family on Al Thalathini Street killed four people and wounded others. The sources further detailed that a fifth individual was killed in an Israeli strike near Al Saftawi intersection in northern Gaza City.

In addition to the airstrikes, Israeli occupation naval forces reportedly opened machine-gun fire from warships at fishermen in the waters off the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday morning.

Since a cease-fire was announced in the Gaza Strip in October 2025, over 4,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded due to ongoing violations and attacks.
