Washington: Donald Trump took the oath of office as the President of the United States of America for a new four-year term, succeeding the outgoing President Joe Biden.
According to Qatar News Agency, the inauguration ceremony for the 47th President of the United States took place inside the Capitol building. The event saw the presence of former US Presidents, a large crowd of members of Congress, diplomats, businessmen, and members of Trump's electoral campaign.
Trump returns to the White House for a second term after his first term from 2017 to 2021, before losing the presidential election to President Joe Biden.
