Doha: European stocks recorded a slight rise in early trading on Tuesday: European stocks registered a modest increase as markets opened on Tuesday. The pan-European STOXX 600 index saw a 0.2 percent uptick, reaching 587.91. Despite this rise, trading activity was relatively calm across major markets in the region, with both the London and Paris stock exchanges showing minimal movement.
According to Qatar News Agency, shares of Novo Nordisk experienced a significant surge, climbing 5.8 percent. The healthcare sector as a whole outperformed others, with an increase of 0.8 percent. In contrast, the energy index experienced a slight decline of 0.1 percent, following a streak of gains over the previous four sessions.
