European Stocks Close Higher

Doha: European stock indices closed higher at the end of trading Monday: European stock indices experienced gains as trading concluded on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index increased by 0.9 percent. This rise marked a recovery from the substantial losses encountered last Friday, when the index recorded its most significant daily decline in over three months. Notably, the German DAX index saw an increase of 1.4 percent, while the French CAC 40 index rose by 1.1 percent.

In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index showed a positive shift, climbing by 0.7 percent. However, the Swiss SME index diverged from the general upward trend, experiencing a decline of 1.5 percent.
