According to Qatar News Agency, both teams struggled to play at a quick tempo due to the hot weather. Osasuna finished the game with ten men after Abel Bretones was sent off with a red card in the 89th minute. With this result, Real Madrid earned their first three points of the campaign, while Osasuna remained without any points. The 2025-2026 La Liga season kicked off last Saturday.
