Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation forces' assault on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 53,977, with 122,966 injured. Among the total toll, 3,822 martyrs and 10,925 injured have been recorded since March 18, following the resumption of the Israeli onslaught on the enclave after the ceasefire deal, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 38 martyrs, including one whose body was recovered from under the rubble, and 169 wounded individuals over the past 24 hours. The toll does not include the hospitals in the northern governorate of the Gaza Strip due to the inaccessibility of those facilities amid the ongoing Israeli aggression.
