New york: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion centered on the strategic partnership between the GCC and Morocco, exploring avenues to enhance this collaboration. The upcoming Gulf-Morocco Investment Forum, set for early November, was also a focal point, reflecting both parties' commitment to bolstering investment and trade relations.
Albudaiwi emphasized the GCC's dedication to its partnership with Morocco, reiterating support for the Moroccan Sahara and the Kingdom's security, stability, and territorial integrity. He also acknowledged the significance of Security Council Resolution 2756, issued on October 31, 2024, concerning the Moroccan Sahara.
