Google: Google has launched its official Gemini desktop app for Windows 10 and 11, bringing the AI assistant to x64 and ARM64 devices worldwide. The standalone app operates without a web browser, opening instantly over active windows via the Alt + Space shortcut or the system tray.
According to Qatar News Agency, the app features Gemini Spark for multi-step planning, direct integration with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Drive, and Calendar, and built-in media creation powered by Nano Banana for images and Gemini Omni for videos. The release marks Google's push to embed Gemini as a permanent, system-level productivity tool for everyday desktop workflows.
