HH the Amir Receives Support from UK Prime Minister Over Al Udeid Air Base Incident

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from HE Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer. During the conversation, the UK Prime Minister expressed his country's solidarity with Qatar following the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base.

According to Qatar News Agency, Prime Minister Starmer strongly condemned the attack as a blatant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as international law and the United Nations Charter. He conveyed the UK's firm stance against any aggression threatening Qatar's security and regional stability. Furthermore, Starmer urged HH the Amir to maintain self-restraint and pursue diplomatic avenues to resolve the situation.

In response, HH the Amir thanked the UK Prime Minister for his support and solidarity with Qatar and its citizens.
