Doha: Doha cinemas are screening various international films this week, coinciding with their releases in cinemas worldwide. These films range from comedy to science fiction, as well as action and suspense films. According to Qatar News Agency, among the films being screened this week is the science fiction comedy "Mickey 17". The film, set in a science fiction setting, revolves around a mission to invade space that culminates in a series of chaotic events. Directed by Bong Joon Ho, the film stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, and Toni Collette. Cinemas in Doha are also screening the action-thriller "The Encrypted", which follows a CIA cryptographer who suffers from post-traumatic stress after his wife is killed by criminals. He decides to blackmail his agency for training in hopes of escaping his life on a mission. The film stars Rami Malek, Caitriona Balfe, and Holt McCallany, and is directed by James Hawes. Additionally, the action-thriller "Inheritance" tells the story of a young woman, Maya, whose li fe is turned upside down when she discovers that her father was once a spy. She finds herself caught in a web of espionage events, following in his footsteps. Directed by Neil Burger, the film stars Phoebe Dynevor, Rhys Ifans, and Ciara Baxendale. As for previously released films still showing in cinemas, The Awakened Man, Novocaine, and others continue to be screened.
