Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed on Tuesday via phone the developments in the Middle East. According to Qatar News Agency, the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister stated that during the call, Al Sudani highlighted the risks resulting from continued Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, emphasizing its impact on regional and global security and stability. He urged the United States and other major countries to increase efforts to stop the ongoing conflict. Al Sudani also underscored the importance of sustained efforts to alleviate the humanitarian consequences of the war. He stressed the necessity of intensifying efforts to deliver relief supplies to civilians in conflict zones and to those displaced by the war.
