Khan yunis: A Palestinian was killed Sunday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources confirmed the fatality occurred in the Al Iqlimi area, south of Al Mawasi in Khan Yunis.
According to Qatar News Agency, the violence extended beyond Khan Yunis, as a Palestinian was killed and others wounded in Israeli occupation attacks on the Al Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City and the Al Rimal neighborhood west of the city. The Israeli forces have maintained intensive artillery and air bombardments along the eastern areas of the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing conflict represents a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement that was supposed to take effect in October. The occupation forces have conducted air raids, artillery shelling, and gunfire operations from vehicles and drones, simultaneously demolishing homes, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of Palestinians. This escalates the toll of martyrs, wounded, missing, and displaced individuals amidst the persistent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023.
