Jordanian King and Albanian President Focus on Strengthening Cooperation and Addressing Regional Issues

Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan and Albanian President Bajram Begaj engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to halt illegal measures that seek to consolidate settlements and impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank. King Abdullah expressed his appreciation for Albania's support in efforts to restore stability, achieve peace, and promote the two-state solution, while stressing the importance of respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of nations.

During the meeting, King Abdullah also highlighted the increasing violations against Muslim and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, warning of the potential dangers these pose. He reiterated the necessity for all parties involved to commit to implementing the agreement aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip.
