Jordanian, Syrian Ministers Condemn Regional Aggressions

Doha: Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani engaged in discussions on Saturday, focusing on bilateral ties and the continuation of joint efforts to expand cooperation. The meeting aimed at ensuring these efforts reflect the interests of both nations positively.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers addressed preparations for the upcoming second session of the Jordan-Syria Supreme Coordination Council, organized by their respective foreign ministries. They expressed strong condemnation of Israel's air strikes and incursions into Syrian territory, labeling these as violations of international law and an assault on Syria's sovereignty.

The dialogue also touched on the volatile situation in the Middle East, with both ministers renewing their condemnation of Iran's attacks on Jordan and Gulf Arab states. They emphasized the importance of diplomacy to resolve crises, advocating for respect of state sovereignty and stability in accordance with international law.
