Post: Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher with Mixed Market Performance

Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 6.32 points to reach 8,903.72 points, an increase of 0.07 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, 337.3 million shares valued at KWD 81.8 million (roughly USD 251.12 million) were traded via 24,963 transactions. The performance of various indices showed mixed results across the board.

The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 3.33 points, closing at 9,227.14 points, a decrease of 0.04 percent. This was achieved through 209.9 million shares traded in 15,302 transactions, valued at KWD 39.3 million (roughly USD 120.6 million).

In contrast, the Premier Market Index saw an increase, gaining 8.70 points to close at 9,297 points, up by 0.09 percent. This index recorded 127.3 million shares traded through 9,661 transactions, with a total value of KWD 42.5 million (roughly USD 130.4 million).

The Bourse Main 50 Index also recorded gains, increasing by 4.58 points to reach 11,002.92 points, up by 0.04 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 131.9 million shares, executed in 9,005 deals, and valued at KWD 25.4 million (roughly USD 77.9 million).
