Doha:The Kuwait Bourse concluded its trading on Monday with the All Share Index dipping by 51.45 points, closing at 8,638.52 points, which represents a 0.59 percent decrease.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 225.1 million shares were traded, amounting to a value of KWD 63 million, approximately USD 204.7 million, across 19,710 transactions.
The Main Market Index fell by 66.83 points, settling at 8,887.07 points, a decrease of 0.75 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 124.8 million shares in 10,943 transactions, valued at KWD 23.3 million, or roughly USD 75.7 million.
Additionally, the Premier Market Index saw a reduction of 50.85 points, closing at 9,033.96 points, down by 0.56 percent. This involved 100.3 million shares traded in 8,767 transactions, with a total value of KWD 39.7 million, equivalent to about USD 129 million.
The Bourse Main 50 Index also experienced a decline, losing 88.08 points to reach 9,968.50 points, down by 0.88 percent. Trading volume for this index included 89.3 million shares conducted in 7,825 deals, valued at KWD 18.2 million, or approximately USD 59.2 million.
