Kuwait Bourse Experiences Decline in All Share Index

Kuwait city: Kuwait bourse closed its trading on Monday with a decline in its All Share Index by 21.25 points, or 0.24%, reaching 8,674.30 points. As many as 579.4 million shares were traded through 27,611 cash transactions, with a value of KWD 93.5 million (roughly USD 285 million).

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index showed an increase of 28.73 points, or 0.37%, reaching 7,810.57 points. This was achieved through the trading of 474.2 million shares via 19,348 cash transactions, amounting to KWD 52.2 million (around USD 159.2 million).

Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index experienced a decline of 34.77 points, or 0.37%, to reach 9,318.40 points. In this segment, 105.18 million shares were traded in 8,263 transactions, valued at KWD 41.3 million (approximately USD 126 million).

The bourse Main 50 Index saw a rise of 19.85 points, or 0.25%, reaching 7,888.46 points. This was through the trading of 383 million shares in 13,037 cash transactions, with a value of KWD 40.7 million (roughly USD 124.14 million).
